More praise for bloggers - and a correction
Howard Kurtz wrote a nice article which can be summed up, “When Bloggers Attack!” Unfortunately, he got something wrong.
Anonymous attacks thrive on the Net. The Chicago Tribune reports that the site RatherBiased.com is run by Mike Krempasky, political director of a Virginia advertising firm run by conservative direct-mail king Richard Viguerie.
Well, a couple things: 1) I’m hardly anonymous. As I told the Tribune, this site is registered to American Target Advertising with my name as the contact point. 2) I don’t run ratherbiased.com and the Tribune didn’t report that. Besides, the ratherbiased.com guys have been doing the heavy lifting for a LONG time - and they deserve that credit.
[UPDATE] To his credit, Kurtz responds and adapts with the speed of the blogosphere! He’s corrected the domain address, now to work on this whole “anonymous attack” thingy. Baby steps…
