Over the last few days it has been very interesting to read the various lines of logic regarding the strategic wisdom of House Republicans either supporting or not supporting the recent vote on the Stupak amendment to ObamaCare (you know, another government takeover. Should end well, don’t you think?) Various bloggers, critics and pundits have weighed in on whether Republicans missed a chance to “kill the bill” by emotionally support Stupak at the expense of good strategy. Others have claimed quite the opposite; that supporting it was good strategy in eventually defeating the nightmare known as ObamaCare (What the Wall Street Journal has labeled the worst congressional legislation ever) in the Senate.

I have been mulling these different view points over. It is interesting to me that both Sarah Palin and Ed Morrissey of HotAir both seem to come down on the latter.

I will be watching how this turns out to see if Palin is as smart as I think she is.
