For all the liberal talk in the lead up to Obama’s “big” speech about how he was going to take charge with HIS plan we heard nary a wit about it; just the same generalizations and platitudes.

The Hill: What happened to the new plan?

Ed Morrissey at HotAir notes its absence and speculates that it’s incompetence. And it may very well be, but I think that for those schooled in the “Chicago Way” there are always more than one way to skin a cat. Look for Obama to go to that worn, dog-eared page of his play book and run the “Just Buy It Already” play. You can bet that behind the scenes Rahm and Axelrod a working a spreadsheet containing every congresscritter’s price and are about to unleash a full court press to buy themselves some Hope and Change with a extra helping European socialism and some nice fat elitist profits ripe for the skimming (that play is on the first page).

Follow the money and we will know who the sell outs are. Let them know we are watching.
