Bush and Cheney should resign NOW! (???)
That President Bush and Vice President Cheney should step aside now, for the final two months of their term, is the product of the thinking of New York Times columnist Gail Collins. She has decided that this would save our economy, because if Bush and Cheney resigned now, “House Speaker Nancy Pelosi would become president until Jan. 20. Obviously, she’d defer to her party’s incoming chief executive, and Barack Obama could begin governing.”
I’m pretty sure she’s serious.
I’m pretty sure she’s inane, stupid, naive, or all three. Why is this woman paid to write for a major newspaper?
