FOX News Sunday (FNS): Host Chris Wallace hosts Barry’s boy Chris Dodd and Hillary’s girl Diane Feinstein. Next up, it’s Karl Rove.

This Week (ABC): Host George Stephanopoulos has Howard Wolfson of Hillary’s campaign and David Axelrod of Barry’s to duke it out.

Meet the Press (NBC): Tim Russert has another roundtable – “Christmas Eve,” he calls ‘em – with strategists Mary Matalin and Mike Murphy and the R side, Jim Carville and Bob Shrum on the D. I think that’s the third one in two months with those same people.

Face the Nation (CBS): Host Bob Schieffer hosts New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, then Hillary surrogate Evan Bayh and Obama surrogate Chris Dodd.

Late Edition (CNN): Host Wolf Blitzer hosts war between Representative Silvestre Reyes (Hillary C.) and John Forbes Kerry (Barry O.). Then a man with a funky name, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, boss of NATO. Also, House GOP whip Roy Blunt of Missouri and DNC boss Howard Dean.

Why Bob Shrum (MTP)?

Rove’s always fascinating (FNS), but this surrogate business is a bit of a strain. Then again, as the old Ronco commercial went: “It’s in! It’s Fun! And everybody’s doing it!” This applies to TW, FTN, and LE, as well, though FTN also features Richardson (irrelevant), who just might tell us if he’s decided to endorse before the all-important Texas primary (who cares?).

On LE, it’s always nice to hear from Jaap de Hoop, or rather to hear Blitzer say it, but Howard Dean is a waste of time. Perhaps Congressman Blunt can tell us just what the heck’s going on in the institution in which he serves. I mean the House Dems, of course, who are acting like they’re led by Harry Reid while the Senate Dems seem to be drifting a little more toward Evan Bayh-esque semi-reasonability.

I’ll have the review for you live over at RedState, Sunday afternoon.
