Yesterday morning on FOX News Sunday, host Chris Wallace started in on Fred Thompson’s lackluster campaign, playing clips of Foxies Fred Barnes and Charles Krauthammer blasting Thompson. Thompson tried to tell Wallace that these were only two Fox employees and his campaign had been complimented by other sources (such as NRO), but Wallace went into a freaky defense of FOX News. It was a strange situation for a usually rational Sunday Morning talk show.

A commenter at Hot Air, I think, offered a good suggestion:

Fred has a hot blond for a wife. Maybe if he hides her somewhere in Aruba for a few weeks he would get more favorable coverage from Fox.

(For the record, I don’t think that FNC, which does show a Rudy bias, has been unfair to Fred Thompson.)
