There has been some trouble with the comments on this blog for some time, and it looked like we had things working better until just before Christmas.

Some of you have seen something like this error message, and it has led to the repeated comments we sometimes see. I’m going to continue looking for a resolution, and if any of you have one, please e-mail me.

One thing you can do which should resolve this error problem is to register at this blog. If you do that and I make the adjustment, your comments will bypass the spam karma spam killer. To register, look in the column on the far right of your screen, beginning with “about this site.” Scroll down until the bottom of the column. There, under the heading META, click on Register, follow the instructions to register, and I’ll take care of the rest.

Basically, you give an e-mail address, a nickname, and a password. Every time you come to the site and are signed in, your comments will go right up.

No one is going to do anything with your information, and this is strictly voluntary for those of you who have trouble commenting. Or even if you don’t, you can register.

We’ll keep this blog going until we have a public apology from the MSM.
