August 2009

I’ve tried getting a post up all day but just wasn’t feeling motivated by anything. I seem a little burned out. This August congressional recess with its attacks on American voters and following 7 months of shocking domestic and foreign radical, progressive presidential leadership has been overwhelming. It seems obvious that millions and millions of Americans have a serious case of buyer’s remorse with this socialist president. Do we get to say “we told you so” yet? For those with such a remorse I wonder what they think they got wrong? Why is his antics coming as such a surprise to them? Where were they looking for their information? How did they conclude that electing Barack Hussein Obama to be the 44th president of the United States of America was a good idea? How do they explain feeling different now?

For those of us with blog addictions the answers seem pretty obvious. We know that most people rely on main stream media news like ABC and the NYT for information about what is going on and what other people think and are talking about. We also know that these sources of information are biased, sometimes in the extreme and relentless. We know it as liberal, progressive propaganda. We talk about all the time. Yet for millions of remorseful American voters they probably don’t understand that they were the victims of an industry wide campaign to hide from them the truth about just what a radical fruitcake this Obama character is.

So, no time for burn out. Back to basics. When congress reconvenes it is time to double our efforts to convince our elected representatives to represent US and say no, hell no to Healthcare reform and no, hell no to cap and tax and most assuredly to say loudly and clearly to the One “sorry bro, we made a terrible mistake”. I’m done with anger. I am resolved to turn these mistakes out.
